Pod Blasting Schedule for Peanut Harvest 2025
Peanut harvest season is right around the corner! To help growers determine the optimum maturity date for their peanuts, the Alabama Cooperative Extension System is offering a series of pod blasting events. Pod blasting is a valuable management tool that can help you make the best decision for your harvest, potentially leading to 300-500 more pounds of peanuts per acre and a 3-5% increase in grade.
Below are the schedules for the 2025 peanut harvest season. Attending one of these events is an easy way to get expert advice and make sure you're getting the most out of your harvest.
